The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed concerning the high amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance place created for intervention here ordeals a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SRD SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance more info providers,” the agency said.
